Arusha National Park is a small but diverse park located in northern Tanzania, close to the city of Arusha. Covering about 552 square kilometers, it is one of the more underrated parks in Tanzania but offers stunning landscapes and varied wildlife. The park is known for Mount Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania after Mount Kilimanjaro, and offers incredible views of both mountains. Arusha National Park’s diverse habitats include montane rainforests, open savannahs, crater lakes, and swamps, making it an ideal destination for a day trip or shorter safari.
