Wildlife:

• Mikumi’s open savannahs resemble the Serengeti, with large herds of buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and antelopes.
• Lion prides, leopards, and hyenas are also commonly sighted.
• Birdlife is abundant with more than 400 species recorded.
