Wildlife:

• The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, black rhinos, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes.
• Flamingos can be found on Lake Magadi inside the crater.
• The endangered black rhino is one of the major attractions.

Activities:

• Game Drives: Descending into the crater is the main activity, with excellent opportunities to see large game animals up close.
• Walking Safaris: Available in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (outside the crater itself), offering a chance to explore the highlands and interact with the Maasai people.
• Cultural Visits: Visit local Maasai villages to learn about their culture and traditions.

• Year-round, but the dry season from June to October offers the best conditions for game viewing.
