Day One 4-6 Hrs.
Drive from Lushoto to the village of Magamba , then trek from Magamba through the rain forest, farm land, traditional villages, to Lukozi for overnight at the hostel. You have the chance to see animals like monkeys and reptiles like chameleons.
Day two: 4-6 hrs
Start walking from the campsite after breakfast via traditional villages, farming land, nice landscape to Rangwi convent for overnight at Rangwi Hostel.
Day three: 4-6 hrs
Optional. Either to climb Mzoghoti peak early in the morning around five or helping some activities at the convent with nuns like harvesting, cooking, washing dishes and watering the garden or take a short walk around the village
Day four: 4-6 hrs
After breakfast you walk from the convent through different villages, visit pottery women, nice views, arrive Mtae in the late afternoon. Overnight at the Guest House with view. Later walk around the village of Mtae , sit for sunset later.
Day five: 1.5-2 hrs
Catching the transport early in the morning around 4:00 or 4:30 back to Lushoto and leave the bags. After the breakfast walking to Irente view point starting around 10:00 a.m which will take about 4hrs. Price: US$ 60 per person per day and US$ 50 per person per day for more than 4 people which is full package.
